Now, it's better than it was, and has given me a stronger distinction between LD and Green, which is good. But, I don't think that distinction is strong enough, and there's very little to nothing in there about science and technology policy (where, naturally, I agree with Evan), nor is there much in there about Green specific policies. You might be of the opinion that a deliberate policy of stunting economic growth, a massive increase in the overall taxation take, a 50% hike on alcohol and tobacco duty (which is already high) and a substantial increase in food costs are good ideas. I don't, at all. But this test doesn't ask me anything on those ideas, ergo it looks like I'm a moderate supporter of the Woo, which, y'know, I'm not.

But given my local Green candidate came as close as she can to saying vote Lib Dem tactically, I think we're doing OK:
How I learned to stop worrying and love Nick Clegg « Kate Sweeny

Now, remember, just a bit of fun, but, y'know, useful fun.

This time I got LD 70, Green 62. In fairness, I *am* concerned by environmental issues, but I find the Green Party just a bit of a mess on many things. (Plus there's basically zero chance of them getting elected where I am, short of someone spiking the tapwater with LSD on polling day or something.)

Now if they'd just ask a question on nuclear power or something, I'm sure I could put some luminous-blue reactor effluent between me and the Greens...

There are a few points, no doubt, where my own views don't chime with LibDem orthodoxy (I'm not in favour of an elected second chamber or SATs for 11-year-olds, for a start) but there's more than enough to keep it on track.

My results were just *weird* - Green 90, Lib Dem 88, Racist UKIP -3, Tory -34 and Labour -36.
Obviously Green and Lib Dem would be the other way round were there more distinctive questions, but I'd say the order of the last three should be reversed as well - I'd be moderately more likely to vote Labour than Tory, and I'd never vote for Racist UKIP under *any* circumstances.

Yeah, it comes down to that stuff you were saying last time you did this, about who you trust to actually deliver on the promises, as much as anything else.

As far as I'm concerned, Racist UKIP are to liberals as the Bastard Nazis are to socialists...

If you *did* agree on all things with Lib Dem orthodoxy, we'd have to kick you out for being too conformist...

But they're skewed by the fact that a whole lot of the issues amount to "I don't care" because they're UK-specific and, well, I don't live there.
