For a long, long time, I've been arguing with people that the only way we're going to get a decent electoral system (as opposed to PR-by-the-numbers that Labour will consider) is to persuade the Conservative party of the case. Today, this looks to be a little bit closer: ( This is a draft post and is friends locked for a reason—it's unfinished, needs polishing, and doesn't quite make sense.
