Do we suspect that the IAU has a few closet Discordians in their mix? I reckon there has to be.

For a body I'd never really registered as existing, they sure are getting a bit of press coverage recently. And it's another decision I approve of.

So, what random member of the Greek pantheon will the next dwarf planet be named after?

Future celestial bodies will be named after World of Warcraft characters. (ps. I don't know if someone's pointed it out before, but the comment form extends underneath the 'interesting stuff' box, for me at least.)

WoW characters? Nah, although the number of astronomers that play is likely high.

As for comment form, doesn't for me on IE or Fx, what browser are you using?

I'm probably going to pull a new redesign when I've time, they've "fixed" one problem, but not the ones I reported. Ah well...
