Ooooh, this sounds so good! Of course, I'm barely literate when it comes to programming so some of what you said sounded totally like Greek to me but what I could get looks great! Do keep us posted on this.
Is your idea then to create something that works commercially or just something small for friends? If the former, do you plan to do it in different languages? I always find that the translations in most platforms (or networks or whatever) are hardly above bearable. LJ for instance tends to mix bits of Spanish and English often in the same page. It's a bit of a problem for those not used to English.
