It's actually stripping the text out. I suspect it's because it's using the LJ generated RSS feed but not having a proper RSS reader I don;t know; I could test by setting up a feed account of my own journal's feed but, well, I can't be arsed.

However, I only found one that had a proper cut in (the african dream girl), the rest were long crappy posts with no cuts anyway.
