I worried, initially, that the thing was stripping out posts but, after checking the LiveJournals of some of them, I thought that it did accept them and the people just didn't bother using them.

It'd be handy if it automatically put the post into a cut really. I like reading the random stuff that gets posted (well, a bit of it), but it's a pain in the arse if you're trying to get to something else on your friends page...
