On babies, congratulations and confusion.

First, many thanks to everyone who said stuff, however, I think dainul says it best:

/me is slightly confused by the people congratulating you. I mean, I'd hope you didn't have a particularly direct role in the proceedings.

I did nothing, all I did was turn up at the hospital. It seems weird to be congratulated; I guess it's just something to say I guess.

Still, mother and baby fine, he's quiet and behaved so far, apparently, and she's quite happy on the morphine.

Oh yeah, I get that bit, and it is something I'll adjust to, but why congratulate me? I did nuffin yer onner.

Still, I put the post up to let people know, expected a response from most, just Colin put the response into perspective. He's as cynical as me, quite impressive really...

Hehe. Well if you didn't notice, I didn't actually post a congrats.

Then again, that's because I have about 15 days of stuff I have to do before MSC, and it's in 6 days!

Enjoy the little bundle of joy, and remember, when he's fussy or gets too wound up - you can hand him back to his mom. ;-)
