Must go to Camden more

Mat is happy.  Mat dragged nadriel away from Warcrack today and we went into Camden to meet innerbrat for lunch at the cafe I've always liked there.

Apart from the half of the Northern Line that we needed being shut, and them digging up half the road in Camden, it was nice. After food (have I mentioned I love Halloumi? I think I may have), we went to the Dev, where we talked geeky stuff and drank merrily. I like the Dev.

As a consequence, Mat is now not sober. And typing in third person. Sorry about that, awful habit, I'll blame Mike.

Anyway, I now have food cooked, and he want to do stuff and then read over his job application form due in tomorrow. So I'm going to eat and play R-Type on the PS2, there should be a post later on voting_taktix in which I channel Steve (tyrell) mightily, because, basically, Ruth Kelly is shit and should resign. And shockingly, this week, it's because she can't actually do her job, rather than because of decisions she's made out of work that merely proved she was shit at her previous job.

That's assuming Mike let's me back at the computer for a bit.

Are you going back to Torquay before you move properly?
Need to organise moving my stuff soon too as Toby has to move out before I do and I have furniture in his room. Tis all terribly complicated.

Will be going back to Torquay as soon as I've got a place, and or if I can sort somewhere out to store stuff, need to start emptying flat but that means I need somewhere to move to, even if temporary.

LMK when would be good to come out and I shall arrive with car assuming I don't get an urgent interview, etc...

Todays (well, Sundays) Independent; she preparing a memo about the implementation of "thou shalt not discriminate against gay couples". Which is likely to be implemented in such a way that that's true for all adoption agencies, except, um, Catholic agencies.

Which is nice. She may or may not be talented as a minister, but accepting this job and the previous job shows her judgement is so bad that she's not suitable for office at all. Just, y'know, an opinion.

One that might get a few high pagerank sites backing it up before I go to sleep.

Oooh, Mat, quick favour to ask? When you sober up ofc :) You're in Reading now, right? Well, one of the few decent people where I work has had the good sense to leave, and get a job up there. Have ya had any luck in finding a place to rent? If so - can you pass any words of wisdom/people he could contact on to me?

Not in Reading, no, currently London, although Reading may be an option as I visit there on occasions.

But I'll ask around, have many friends, housing market seems fairly dynamic so finding somewhere shouldn't be that hard.

I'm still, sort of, looking. But in a slow, no rush, kind of way...

Level 63? ...not really, no. Couple of my guildies are at 65 and they're Scandinavian and work full time. Scandinavians work longer... I think...
