I hadn't bought it for random reasons I think, just not got around to it; it was the year I tried Uni in Manchester so I did buy a lot of CDs that year (ypical student with an overdraft).

I deliberately put off buying In Utero; was sat in a ktchen in Halls with a group of people when itcame out, and I said something along the lines of probably not going to bother until he's dead, I'll buy it then. Horribly prescient.

I think at one point I nearly did, but picked up Hats off to the Insane instead; I'm sure you'll agree that's a better choice...
