Sad Kermit redux
I said in the edit update on my last post:
on SadKermit.Com. A site I may explore further when I've time...Well, I have been. I've just DL'd from the audio section a few tracks, and listened to Creep. If, like me, you're an early Radiohead fan (because Pablo Honey was their best album, I don't care if they disagree), go download and listen to Creep:
Hurt (NIN)Um, yeah, explicit lyrics warning, but as a paen to how special Miss Piggy is/was? so very cool. Creepy, but cool.
Creep (Radiohead)
Twilight (Elliott Smith)
Rainbow Disconnection (Updated Version)
Something I Can Never Have (NIN)
no subject
(because Pablo Honey was their best album, I don't care if they disagree)
Heh. Gotta love Anyone Can Play Guitar.
I wanna be Jim Morrison
It was Creep that got me to buy the CD (same day I bought In Utero, the day Cobain shot himself), but it was that sold me on them as a band.
Things went slowly downhill after that though.
* pokes you for having such a sexy brain *
The Bends is a pretty good album, but not as good as PH... and then, yeah, I think I got the next one on vinyl because it was a pretty limited edition and didn't buy any more after that.
Re: * pokes back *
I deliberately put off buying In Utero; was sat in a ktchen in Halls with a group of people when itcame out, and I said something along the lines of . Horribly prescient.
I think at one point I nearly did, but picked up Hats off to the Insane instead; I'm sure you'll agree that's a better choice...
*has finally got around to ripping Pablo Honey to MP3*
Watch what you're doing with that finger, you, or this could get f-lock necessary :P
O_o
You realise that there are segments of Nirvana fandom even now blaming you for his death?
picked up Hats off to the Insane instead
Heeee! Yes, definitely a better choice.
* has a great deal of affection for your Therapy? fanness *
My finger isn't going anywhere it's not wanted...
Oh, there's an easy response to that one, if he hadn't shot himself he'd have become another Elvis/Eddie Vedder/up own are egotist, and they'd be dealing with awful music and having to tell people they used to be cool, honest...
*is still so very glad he made that random choice of t-shirt*
Ice breakers are always good, n'est ce pas?
How Very True O:-)
* cough *
God, typing like that actually hurts LOL.
*is still so very glad he made that random choice of t-shirt*
Well, to be fair, it wasn't JUST the T-shirt. Really, you want to watch how you lean over the bar when you're ordering things... ;)
Re: How Very True O:-)
Occurs if we ever do get horribly out of hand, we can just screen comments, but that's annoying...
