Do ye ken John Peel?

I was going to quote the song, but a bit of research shows it's nothing to do with the great man himself, so instead I'll simply remind everyone what day it is.

No idea what I'm doing tonight, but Radio 1 has been pretty good so far today, the current song is execrable nonsense, but, y'know, daytime.

I think there's something on in Exeter tonight, anyone know where/when?

Some people playing some music somewhere in the town centre, because there wasn't anything else going on, apparently. And that's all. According to the R1 site, at least.

Yoinked from the R1 Site:
Name: John Peel Celebration
Venue: Exeter City Centre
Town: Exeter
Line Up/Details: They werent doing much down here for John Peel, and that made me sad, so I decided to get some musicans together for an outdoor live set/jam and finish off with a rendition of "Tennege Kicks"

Potentially more interesting is:
Name: Skittish's John Peel Event
Venue :The Famous Old Barrel
Town: Exmouth
Line up/details: SOB, The Re-Offenders, Animal Matter, Letters To Celebrate
