One of the biggest problems I have generally when talking about economic stuff is not to come across like some rabid right winger, economic language is so dry and analytical, it can make you sound heartless. But using exact terms is necessary at times. Balances need finding.

  Drinking moderate amounts daily is good for you, so many different studies show this. Yet all we hear from various Govt sources is how bad for you excessive drinking is, and how we must control drinking generally. Pig headed stupidity, drinking a healthy amount is pretty much unaffordable for many. Especailly those who would benefit the most from the smarts boost.

ETA: It did done werk! Thanks to andrewducker for hosting the script for the autopost for me, and exor674 & fu for patching DW so that my reported-over-a-year-ago bug was finally figured out and fixed. This means I can auto post cool links again. So I might, y'know, start posting stuff again.

I've bumped into Dr. AdG a few times over the last dozen years or so, mostly in the context of the Mind Sports Olympiad - he's a big Othello player - and I didn't know he was poly. Huh. Perhaps my lack of drinking is showing.

I keep meaning to learn some games for the mind sports thing, I'm good at games generally, but I've no idea what qualifies.

I suspect if I told Jennie he'd likely be there, she'd relearn Othello properly just to meet him. From experience, most people that are poly are fairly discrete about it, and even if open will rarely go on about it too much, I tend to just mention it as asides every so often. It's beena godsend this week, don't think I'd have been able to look after Jennie on my own.

Did you have to change much about the script? Or did you just change the server name?

Just servername for the first post. Plus tags and title, obviously.

I'm now hoping that I've updated to set the icon properly, and will then play with client protocols if that works.

Unfortunately, the blog rescue tool won't install on my Fx and I can't be bothered to go install an older version just for this, so I'm reliant on Delicious once-a-day, which'll likely be enough.

Yeah, the rescue tool didn't work on mine either, until I told it not to care about the versioning (which was a right pain in the arse to get right).

I'll have to have a play with this at the weekend, and see if I can get mine working on DW.

I can't figure out how to get version checking turned off, I've followed every FX FAQ there is, deleted and redone the about:config stuff, rebooted and similar, nowt works. Ah well.

Script I've got set is in my folder called dw.php so you can test run from that whenever you feel like it, hopefully it'll call the userpic 'webstuff' but that might not work.

I _think_ what fixed it for me was adding this key:
extensions.checkCompatibility.3.6
set to false
(note the capitalisation on checkCompatability)

FWIW, this just finally worked with me, as I've a reason to now need it again. The help files on Moz don't seem to mention you need the browser version number, that's daft.
