I need to breakout

I hate being ill. I think I may have mentioned that already, I'll shut up now.

Barely slept, coughing constantly, no energy — yup, I've got Man Flu. Overdosing on lemsip isn't helping. Downloaded Semagic, the edit friends groups isn't much better than the web interface, so I've given up on that project out of boredom for now.

On the subject of boredon though; Breakout online. Very silly, but, meh, it kills time. Just downloaded a shareware version of Arkanoid. Because someone linked to a history of video games and I couldn't resist Googling. Have been reading the Flem archives. Jay Grant is sick. But we all new that anyway.

I'd say g'night, but I suspect I'm not going to sleep, so no point really.

large ammounts of orange juice and paracetamol is one of the best cures I've found
And attempting to sleep as much as possible.
As for coughing.. try having some form of milk shake, Frijj works wonders. Soothes nicely.


Yes Jay Grant is indeed one sick puppy. He also needs to update Flem. He's updated Two Lumps a load.. but no new Flem.

Paracetamol wears off too quick. Milk is good, but the fridge is broken. Still, had a fairly productive afternoon all things considered.

dandy, fine, and well. apart from the occassional oh-my-god-i-dont-know-anything. a few people seem to have a coldy-flu thing at the mo. I keep telling them it's bird flu. No-one believes me, but no-one believed whoever it was who first said that the world was round, either.

It's hard being an unrecognized genius. Sleep tight, with your... cold.

It's not bird flu. Bird flu doesn't scare me, the odds of dying from it are so small it's silly.

I'd prefer if it was TBH, at least people would believe me. It's just man flu. Which is basically a minor cold as suffered from a male.

Still, I have a long weekend off, so I'm happy.
