That's what it's supposed to be about.

Nah. The winter holidays aren't supposed to be about anything. I strongly feel that there are so many ways to celebrate this time of year that if some one wants to pretend it has something to do with Jesus, well, knock yourself out and enjoy. I only mind when they tell me that's what I'm supposed to think, too. We celebrate Christmas in our home as a secular holiday. There's no creche anywhere and no one mentions Bethlehem, but there's a tree with lights all over it and Santa has been by. I wouldn't want some one telling me I'm supposed to call it 'Yule' or that I can't do these things because I do Hanukah, too (where I do have religious feelings) or any other holiday.

To paraphrase Yoda, "There is no supposed. Do, or do not."
