I mentioned the theory of Clinton / Obama to a couple of Americans I know. One of them is in New England somewhere. MA, I think. Anyway, they pooh-poohed the idea, suggesting that it would tilt the ticket way too heavily to the left. Which would, perhaps, make Clinton / Edwards a fairly solid ticket.
