Speaking of 'people you have actually met,' sorta, the family and I are planning a trip to either England or Ireland in August.
On the one hand, I have family in Ireland, on the other, half my f-list are Brits. We're leaning more towards England for ourselves but more towards Ireland for the kids, as (in good Catholic fashion) I have a gazillion cousins there.
Which has little bearing on the subject, but I figured I'd mention because as I told ems, squee. So um... yeah.
