Day wasted (again)

Well, after managing to run up 54 hours of overtime in July, my August timesheet (completed yesterday) says I'm owed 0 hours. Mostly because I'm taking random time off. So today, I nursed the hangover, read more of The Historian (which I'm still not convinced on, how can a book about Dracula and E.European history be so dull?), played a bit of Total War and basically did nothing.

Oh, I paid a bill by phone. I was meant to get a bus to Paignton to pick the car up from where I parked it last night. I was also then supposed to go shopping for some real food. Ah well, beans on toast again tonight. Tomorrow, I go to meet draich_goch to refight the American Civil War in a board game, and possibly play toy soldiers as well. The Kingskerswell club has booked their venue for an all day thing, apparently. Good job they use their mailing list effectively to let the occasional members know eh? Or not, as the case may be.

Oh, Londonist has some cool graffiti here. Well, it will appeal to some readers, anyway. Oh, Torquay was the wettest place in the country today, as busdriving puts it, Boy; did it rain. Probably not worth leaving the flat, right?
