How generic heroic are they? They're not, that's why I love them. One of the main characters in the first few books is a crippled dwarf, and the basic plot, well, involves twincest and rebellion. Very shades of gray, and yes, I tend to not get well with the OTT heroic stuff either.
Anyway... Interests: cryptozoology, medieval warfare (lots of that in the books) & kuiper disc objects
Icons: Um, yeah, I know the face icon, but I doubt others do, pluto and the spiral
