Am poking around over here and seeing if I like it enough to make it my new mirror site when signups go universal. It seems less irritating than InsaneJournal, which has got to be a good start! And it's also encouraging to know that there would be ready-made friends around.
Well that seemed to work. LJ asked me if it was OK, but just said they'd share info that was already public. (FOAF, I assume.) Don't know if that includes my email address, but I wasn't asked to enter it.
DW won't ask you for your email, but if you don't give it to them you a) won't get comment replies and b) won't get an invite if they want tos end you one, only validated accounts get invites.
