I know the feeling. We got stuck in Paris for 2 hours last year because our flight landed late and we were on the only connecting flight they didn't escort people to.
Compare with: arriving on your delayed bus, running to the check in to get told the plane is delayed. 12 hours later departing, and arriving at your destination at about 5am having now missed two nights' sleep.
I think I was probably slightly better off than you, but still bloody knackered.
Yea yeah, but we got there. Besides, it was the traffic, and you could have pointed out I'd got the plane time wrong. Plus you said when we got stuck that that route always gets stuck, so it was really your fault.
Airline, being Easyjet, were happy to reschedule me to a later flight for a fee. It was only £35, so not too bad, and I might claim it back somehow. Ultimately, not their fault, and they could've just told me to get lost, so no complaints that end.
