Earlier today, shakalooloo sent this message to exegames_fd. A few minutes ago, I got this comment on an old post:

I used to play Requiem at my old hovel, and as such I'm looking for LARPers interested in playing Vampire the Requiem as part of the Worldwide Camarilla game.

The main problem is though, that with the possible exception of Beedle, we all think the Requiem sucks (as does most of the rest of the new WoD stuff, bar possibly Werewolf).

Still, we can talk to the guy, and he may get some more positive response from Beedle.

Y'know, despite living in Devon most of my life, I've never actually gotten around to going. Wrong time of year for me usually.

Requiem isn't a WoD LARP. It's one of the new WoD games that can be played tabletop or LARP. The guy's comment doesn't specify if he's talking about LARP or tabletop.

Either way, irregardless of your opinon of WoD, our opinion is that the new stuff is far inferior to the old stuff.

I assume that it's LARP, because not only does he say he's looking for LARPers, but he also mentions the Camarilla organisation.

My feelings about the quality of nWoD aside, I've had enough of the CamUK.

My main reaction was to you automatically describing Requiem as a LARP, which it can be, but isn't always.

Aaah, the urge to mock White Wolf. And LARPs. Yes - every now and then I need to bite my proverbial tongue too; I never did quite work out what the attraction of either of the Vampires was supposed to be.

Oh, I understood the appeal once, when visiting a friend in Leeds. She was rather nice.

But the game itself? Nah. And the local players are, for the most part, so not my type. If you get a good group, I'm pretty sure it could be fun, but generally you don't, so it's not.
