I've been tagged, twice, to do a meme. I'm in a meh mood, and my anarchist tendencies are objecting to be told what to do, which is daft, as I normally just get on with them.

So rather than doing the meme now, I thought I'd ask your general opinion in this groovtastic poll.

[Poll #891090] And for those not local to Exeter, someone else can explain the Guido option...

ETA: As [livejournal.com profile] mooism points out, the Dawkins/definition thing should be a check button poll, must've hit the wrong thing. D'oh!

Is Guido someone particularly attractive and / or slutty, who gets "felt" on a regular basis?

(With apologies if you're Guido.)

no, he's just Guido, an ex-housemate of mine who seems to have achieved somewhat ledgendary status in Exeter for being, well, Guido.

I think you had to be there. 'There' being the Xnet Random Silliness forum about a year back. People seem to have drifted away from the true faith of Guido.

Dawkins/meme question should have checkboxes, not radio buttons.

What's this "should" in q1? I pretended that word wasn't there.

I don't think I've ever been tagged to do a meme.... often I just see loads of other people doing them and occasionally I feel the urge to shove in my answers. Not very often though, I mean - in the past certainly they always came across as designed to find out information about one particular person.

I think if I was asked to do one I'd probably comply - depending on subject matter and who was asking, but never for my own benefit (after all, I already know the answers - why dwell on the fact that I've never been to Seattle or kissed any boys or [insert other random question here])

On the Guido note, I recall meeting someone going by that name down in Exeter a good few years ago, but I can't recall much more beyond that.
At the moment though, it seems like you're using guido as a silly option for people to discount, so that they can see the results of the poll without clouding up the figures themselves.

You know that bit in the Simpsons, where Ralph gets asked a difficuly question and responds with 'My cat's name's Mittens'? That's Guido as an answer in a poll.

Or, it's the Wookie Defence, your pick.

Guido as a person is a legend, an enigma, a real person, makebelieve. There is no 'may have met' Guido. If you have, you know.
