I managed to avoid List at the time as the sheer hype it was getting put me off a bit, I can be a bit ornery at times, especially when it comes to 'worthy' films.

It's one I've always meant to see, but never got around to. Don't think I'd even heard of Network. Will try to get around to it; grrliz is planning to watch and review all of them this year, hence the posting of the list.

That's a thing with the latest. It's not too bad, although bulky. CSS is technically "better" than <i>, but I forget exactly why...

CSS is better for some purposes, but ideally you should use strong and em, and then style then in a sheet.

My problem with it is I'm planning on making i and em tags within blockquote not italics, as all my blockquote text currently is, but if it's styled rather than markupped (is that the right word?) then the stylesheet becomes pointless. Ah well.

I've only ever seen 7 of these, as far as I'm aware. Or 9 if you count the fact that I've probably seen ever scene in the Wizard of Oz and the Sound of Music over the course of my lifetime, just not in the correct order! There is always something more interesting to do when they're on.

It's entirely possible (and likely) that others have been playing on a tv in the same room as me, but films just don't stick in my head.

I guess to an extent it depends on how into films generally you are. I spent a lot of my weekends watching films on TV at my grandparents, so several of the above I've just seen, not sought out.

The ones I've bolded I mostly recommend, genre may not suit but some of them are a genre I wouldn't normally watch anyway.
