We had a party at uni when we'd done all of the philosophers mentioned. I think Heidegger was the last one we ticked off. Also did lots of Locke and Rousseau(s)...

John Stuart Mill = the best of the lot, because he started off as a Benthamite and then went off at a wonderful tangent.

All three is a possibility too ;)

I shall commence research, but I think your best bet is likely the train... Whether it's train or bus you'd be going to Bradford Interchange.

OK, you have the option of the train (and changing at Leeds) or the bus (and changing at Leeds/Bradford airport both options take about an hour and a quarter, sadly, a fair amount of which is hanging around in Leeds.

Getting back to Harrogate is more fun; train AND bus, by the looks.

I was under the impression that there were direct services; if we're going to do tonight, Leeds might be a better option. I can get the train to Leeds with only one change, and it won't involve you trying to find a bus stop in Leeds without help to get back to Hairy Git, which is MUCH easier said than done...

If we're still doing tomorrow, the same sort of travel arrangements apply, I think:

However, I can't get out of being in Bradford tomorrow, in the Afternoon at least.

Well, if I get the train at 7.30 that gets me to leeds for 8.30; my last train home is 23.08

You have bus or train options to get to Leeds in that sort of timescale...

There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach ya 'bout the raising of the wrist; Socrates himself was permanently pissed...

I think the Python guys thought dear old JS Mill was a bit of a wussy boy, you know, the way he's depicted in the song ("on half a pint of shandy was particularly ill")

At least he's not Plato. Plato is a boring old git in comparison. I wish I could put this into my essay: "It is clear from the texts that Plato was a stuffy old git in comparison to his pupil Aristotle."
