Meetings...

So... many... meetings...

All day yesterday (2) one today that overran by 4 hours, one last Monday, one previous Friday, 2 more tomorrow (that overlap). Then the writing up of the "action plans" and making sure the right work is done by the right people.

The joys of management. Still yesterday afternoon's meeting got me out of the office and up to Exeter, but I was so knackered at the end that I forgot to ring people see if they were free :-(

Haven't done any for ages, and have spent most of the week offline (see "meetings", below), so decided to click on all the interesting ones on my friends list today and do the lot.

There's nothing wrong witht he code that caused the last post to mess up completely, at least not that I can see. Ah well, deleted the offending meme.

Meh, on the subject, the show-off intellectual in me wants to know, without looking it up, how many people actually know
a) what a meme actually is
and
b) who created the term.

PaulJ and I used to talk about the theory incessently while we lived in Exeter, now everyone's using the word and I'm curious. Did oyu know the theory before you started using it in LJ, do you know it now, is meme just another cool word you ue without knowledge?

None of this matters, of course, but, y'know...
