Mega-City One -- The disgraced Judge Mat Bowles was today sentenced to 20 years on the penal colony of Titan after what arresting officer Judge Dredd described as "a career in corruption."

An experienced member of Justice Department, whose several textbooks on Applied Violence at the Academy of Law were considered required reading for cadets, it is thought Bowles has been taking bribes from the major crime syndicates for much of his fifteen-year career.

I’m usually not too keen on blog awards. In fact, I despise all of them except for the ones that I’m nominated for. In other words, I despise all of them. But Clairwil has had a brainwave. For the latest blog awards to emerge, the Metro Best of Brit Blog Awards, everybody should nominate Councillor Terry Kelly for the politics category. “Imagine the look on the judges faces!”

Seriously, please do. Nominate Cllr Terry, vote for him, whatever. Because, y'know, he makes some of the dumbest people on the planet look, well, slightly less dumb in comparison.

Dear Internets

Please to be not crashing every 5 minutes. I know the house wireless network is both beyond my control and a little not very good, but it would be nice if I could actually open up a page and/or hit 'submit' for a comment without getting a 'server is taking too long to respond' message, m'kay?

Also, Gmail? It would be nice if you stopped crashing as well, 18 months no problems, and now you've opened up to all without the need for an invite code you decide to start crapping out on me? Not good, not good at all.

PS, once you're fixed, if you could tell the company that makes the conference badge printers that having to define which USB slot they're plugged into when you install the driver onto a laptop that will be set up by a different person actually at conference is a bloody stupid thing that breaks the point of USB, I'd be grateful, because the install software is annoying to use once...
