I hope for humanities sake that not many people answer "Main Work Browser" for the fianl question. I mean, really - if they're browsing the internet at home, they have every resource they need to GET their favourite browser!!
Still wouldn't surprise me to see a couple of people put work though. I mean, people really ARE that lazy... ;)
You'd be surprised (although I doubt any of the people likely to respond to this would have this problem), but I installed Mozilla onto a friends PC because he "couldn't get the internet to work properly"; his work PC had Mozilla, his home PC, of course, only had IE.
I reckon the avarage LJ user is better than that, and my geeky friends should be better than that. But, well, you never know.
At work, the official policy was always that the only browser internal technical support would offer help with was Lynx, as you could pretty much do everything you needed to do for work using it. That, and I have a sadistic streak a mile wide when it comes to that kind of thing.
Y'see, due to not bothering to reconfigure things, I've got the strangeness that I use Opera on my laptop and Firefox on my desktop, and like them both.
I think so; I'll think of another thing I want to know and try it sometime later in the week. Need to sort out the table rendering problem first though; it's really annoying me currently...
Your talking about Guido? He's a nice lad, but bunging his name in every single bloody poll was an option for the tired and uncreative even when I fequented Xnet.
