A year in review. Everyone else is doing it...

Can't sleep. Clowns threatening to eat us. This weird shared brain thing means we both get insomnia at the same time. So how about those annual round up memes that everyone's been doing for the last month?
Right, not going to do "first post" stuff, because I find that pointless. So instead, most commented on post per month:
January: The one about the Deadlands CCG survey was popular with 42 comments, partially because I linked it elsewhere, but it's not a general interest post, so joint tied in second place with 27 apeice were the Big Brother racism row and my story of flat-hunting woes.
February: Hmm, yeah. A linkspam with the VW Beetle sex (52 comments) and me complaining about my 'net connection (26 comments), both mostly notable for the obvious flirting with Jennie before we actually got together.
March: Most commented on post was actually filtered so just Jennie could see it(52 comments). So top open post is about my weekend again, us spamming each other (37 comments), and a linkspam post discussing Facebook, feed aggregation and general daftness (30 comments).
April: Clear lead with 51 comments is the discussion on Lush cosmetics and how to wash your hair while taking a bath. 2nd was a 'comment here' meme, the sort of thing I rarely do but was knackered with 47 comments, so third place with 30 comments is the one about the petition to get Terry a knighthood.
May: A locked post about sex, filters and online discussions thereof, viewable to friends only, got 60 comments (you really are a filthy lot). On the subject of filth though, my post about the first Livejournal mass deletions mess up (Strikethrough) got 42 comments, and the icons and interests meme got 32 comments.
June: Poll on the Olympics logo got 40 comments, and thanks for all the congrats on the "I got a new job" post (34 comments).
July: Clear win here, the poll about Serenity/Firefly not only got 67 comments on its own, but the follow up post on midwifery after the comment drift also got 54. One of the things I like about you guys is the vast spread of knowledge you've got, I learnt a lot from that discussion.
August: No contest, clear winner for the month with 81 comments (plus a bunch more on the Facebook import), was our announcement that we got engaged. Second place was the Political Compass/You know you're a Conservative meme post, which again was interesting (44 comments).
September: The Civic Literacy thing showing that a bunch of us score better on a test about the US civics than Harvard students (scary) got 50 comments, and the Tate/Tennant video got 32.
October: 92 comments on the cupcake poll. And now that I'm up here, I can confirm it's not just Jennie, they're all a bit weird on the subject. 46 comments on my "favourite things to do in London" question. Didn't get around to that many of them, but it's not like I won't be back. There were 45 comments on the Rick Astley poll as well, in case anyone didn't go look at that site.
November: The Noah's Ark Zoo Farm post got 44 comments here, and inspired posts by a few others as well. Scary British creationists. The 5th November post got 32 as well.
December: My "didn't notice the date of the article" post on Charles Clarke got 40 comments. Regardless of timeliness, he's still an arse. And the Doctor Who poll got 25 comments, which given I've not really replied there much is mostly you lot talking to each other, whcih is nice.
From just about everyone already, the annual round up quiz:

Lived in London, spent more than a week unemployed, worked in Westminster, fell in love, got engaged, moved to Yorkshire.

38. Who was the best new person you met?

Well, that took awhile to write. It's now silly o'clock in the morning, and we're meeting friends to go shopping in Leeds in less than three hours, think I've had about 4 hours sleep total. Ah well. In case I don't post again till tomorrow, happy new year y'all.
