Steven Moffat to win Best Dramatic Presentation Long Form for the 2010 series of Doctor Who.

It'll be a nice complement to his short form awards. You lot definitely liked the likely winner this year anyway.

ETA: El Reg has managed to sum up my view of Rusty's term in office quite well, so here's a link.
In other news, I am not well. Neither is SB—we've caught whatever bug Teh Shrub had last week. Consequently I'm barely reading entries and have no energy to comment much (or reply to a few comments). Normal service may be resumed if I can get a good nights sleep.

My prediction from 2010 is a huge backlash from certain sections of fandom who've been projecting all their 'this is how I want Who to be' ideas onto Moffat, and are going to be very pissed off when they realise he's not the messiah they were expecting...

Hey, hope you guys get better soon.Tuck up well!

I really loved his episode 'The girl in the fireplace' as only saw that for the first time this year when I got the DVD (I am very new to the new series of Doctor who as didn't have a telly for years and still don't). I liked it so much I do remember specifically looking up who had written it.

Hadn't seen Blink before until now, as managed to find the full episode up on youtube last night. Really enjoyed it too. His episodes strike at a diffent deeper level and I find myself thinking about them a lot and it is like you take something from them. Really enjoyable. Hope that future episodes have that same element too!

Hmm, interesting. RTD was, well, unique, I think might be the best word. It'll be interesting to see where it goes now that Moffat's in charge.

Thing is, when I saw the most recent one (the Agatha Christie episode), I came away from it really worried. I didn't really like that episode and Series Four has had just a bit of a 'we're running low on ideas' feel to it.

Anyway, we'll see. Hopefully my gloom-mongering will come to nothing!

Oh yes, I did also see series 1 there before Christmas for the 1st time and enjoyed those 2 'Are you my mummy?' episodes. Good storyline, with the whole emotional element as well!
