For each letter, put something that cheers you up. Leave it blank if you can't think of something, but go back to it later.
Hmm; how about people suggest things for the blanks? Might make it more, um, fun?
A-Adams, Douglas-If in doubt, think of a Guide joke.
B-Books-like anyone was expecting something else?
C-Chocolate-this was nearly coffee, and I considered computer, but chocolate wins.
D-DVDs-Especially of old TV series I haven't watched since I was a kid.
E-Exeter-I regret leaving the place, the commute is too long :-(
F-Friends-both real and online,
mapp has cheered me up both in person and via the net too many times this week. Bus!
G-Girls-OK, I'm mostly always single, but that doesn't stop me being a bloke.
G2-Games-Card, Board, Miniature, but still not RP, normally cheers me up a lot.
H-Holidays-My love of travelling is well documented.
I-Internet-When bored, always something to amuse.
J-Jasper Fforde-Everyone should read Jasper Fforde.
K-katherine-Because, well, she normally does, and she asked nicely, and I can't think of anything else.
L-London-I just love wondering around the place; up again next weekend, yay!
M-Music-Good music, regardless of style or genre; Freddie reminded me the Proms were on, and I'm still on Radio 3. No idea what it is, but it's cool.

P-Porn-Always try to be honest.
Q-Quorn-Especially the deli ham slices
R-Reading-See answer to B
S-Sleep-This is actually a lie, sleep makes me cranky, or maybe that's just getting up?
T-Technology-It's great, generally.
U-
V-Vs-It's a much better game than I thought it would be, and nothing else springs to mind.
W-Work-I wouldn't do the job otherwise on my pay; when it goes well, it's great.
X-X-net-Agree with
angelil, it brightens the day no end

Z-
Not bad, a few too many gaps though: missing E, J, K, N, O, U, X, Y, Z; any ideas?
[Edit:] E & X from Bianca, Nothin from Sarah (Unicorns? I think not). I've done a Douglas Adams reference already although Freddie's K is a good one.
[Edit 2:]Have added a J&K, one was suggested, the other prompted by a look at the pile of books waiting to be shelved. Still stuck on NOUY&Z.
