Nice accidental icon. Time for a cache clearance?

I was wondering what that icon was about, but I figured that it was some kind of obscure Canadian parliamentary reference that I wasn't cultured enough to get.

Not my icon. What did you see BTW? I got a distorted picture of someone I don't know, it was supposed to be my Fineas Life icon.

Apparently it's a cache issue with the CDN, and different people sometimes see different things.

IME, everyone saw the same wrong icon, except those who saw the original from their local cache.

Or maybe I simplified my experience to fit my understanding.

Gah, it's back. It was gone for a few days and I got my Fineas 'Life' one back, now it's gone again.

I guess I'll have to do what LJ tells people to do and open a Support request. In the meantime, *edit*

Are you sure it was back, and not just in the cache of the computer you were using?

Would be weird to get it in the cache, it's been this PC all the time. Unless Fx is doing som VERY weird caching these days, it muct've come back.

Hope so, it was in the exact style of all the others so replicating it'll be a pain, and don't want to redo the set.

It'll come back when they clear the cache, but you need to raise a support request to have it done.

Should I be surprised this has carried over? I guess only the physical location of the server has changed.

This happened after the move, they've had some issues with Scrapbook that they're trying to understand, and icons are stored in Scrapbook.

The specific cache clearing random icon substition was happening for weeks before the move. It affected three of my journals.
