Serenity looking good
2005-Oct-02, Sunday 22:05Well, I've been reading reviews. I'm trying to avoid spoilers, apparently something big happens, no idea what, but, well, I'll find out when it's release. Hmm...

In other, completely unrelated observations, LJ is great for so many reasons; one of them is the reminder of great music you haven't listened to for ages; many thanks to
lithium_doll for reminding me of the greatness that is Skunk Anansie's first album.
So here's what I have to say about Serenity:I don't think you can get a better endorsement than that.
This is the kind of movie that I have always intended Ender's Game to be (though the plots are not at all similar).
And this is as good a movie as I always hoped Ender's Game would be.
And I'll tell you this right now: If Ender's Game can't be this kind of movie, and this good a movie, then I want it never to be made.
I'd rather just watch Serenity again.

It's been rumored that Joss Whedon's master plan includes a trilogy of these movies. If that is the case, I will be there, on opening day, money in hand, for every single one of them.
