grrliz on web standards and LJ accessibility. Very, very cool article, well researched and some good points. I (mostly) agree with her, I've made a few quibbles in the comments. If'n you don't know, she's the winner of that Style Contest thing 6A ran, and deservedly so, even if she did choose a bloody awful font; layout/change style: pick style contest: the late show, that's her. Nice, innit? Go read the article, put some time aside, it's just worth it.- theweaselking with some absolutely awesome pics of forced perspective room decorations. Really well done, very freaky.

From what I've heard from those that play, avoiding a lot of the other players seems to make sense though.
[1] I am not an elf. I deny this completely, Elves are horrible nasty critters, and no one should ever trust them. Any similarity between me and elves are entirely the figments of other peoples imagination. Lots of other people. Independently. Bastards.
Besides, Dwarves are actually cool. Even Gimli, despite the way he was made into comedy by Jackson.

They're totally winsome, in the thick set girl next door the boys never noticed because they were too busy hanging up posters of movie stars kind of way.
Confession time: I never actually read LoTR because I wasn't much into it, but I enjoyed the movies. (I was more of a Dune girl at that age.) But I'm still disappointed WoW's dwarf girlies are not bearded. BOO ON THEM.
