Revenge, I shall have thee!

Oh Michael? Look what I found:
Yup, it's my Elf team. The first miniatures I ever bought, and amongst the first I ever painted. Scarily, of the figures I own, they're also the best painted unit, even though I last redid them when I was 18, way before I'd spent 10 years working for the company painting figures every day. My Cawdor gang for Necromunda is quite good, but these just rule.
Anyway, the point of all this? Well, after last weeks debacle, I have gone through all the gaming crap piled on the storage shelf and dug out the team I know I can win with. So, firstly, a rematch my friend. When?
Secondly?
londonbloodbowl. Only just set it up, no posts, or rules, or anything. If Mike and I are going to be playing regularly, might as well organise something, right? I've sent invites to those who expressed an interest, but anyone else, feel free to join and we'll see what we can arrange.

(don't be damaging the young 'uns too much...)

All online for free, I DL'd it earlier. If you want to join us, we have three pitches between the two of us and plenty of models that can sub for different teams.

Date: 2007-Mar-27, Tuesday 21:51 (UTC)And I may know nothing about this stuff, but I'm afraid I'll have to warn you in advance that I'll die laughing if he beats you again after this post... ;)

Date: 2007-Mar-27, Tuesday 22:03 (UTC)Actually? There's a good chance he might
I tend to play for the long haul if we set up a league, first few matches matter not, as long as the team survives. I might let him win as long as I can score a few points, takes a few games for them all to learn to duck...

* shudder *
I might let him win
Ahahahahahahahaha got THAT one in early, didn't you?

OK, Aragorn's also an arse, but he knows a dodgy Elf when he sees one.
and yes, had to get it in early, because it might be a good plan. That I messed the html up so it's all visible? Yeah, that's me being crap.

Date: 2007-Mar-27, Tuesday 22:29 (UTC)Worst Orlando being Elf moment is when he takes down the damn Mummak in the last film. Just wrong damnit!

It's why the internet can be useful. Warning: When I say Laurence is crazy? I really mean it.

Date: 2007-Mar-28, Wednesday 12:24 (UTC)Coincidentally, Duncan is currently running a league here. My team, the Spitburg Soulstealers, is running with no TD difference at all, but that hardly matters when compared to a nice, healthy casualty difference.
They even pulled off a pass last game. Seconds before the final whistle...

Date: 2007-Mar-28, Wednesday 13:14 (UTC)Soulstealers. Undead?

Date: 2007-Mar-27, Tuesday 23:07 (UTC)And seriously? Long haul planning, against undead? You know you'll win the first few games on points, because I'll be busy killing your team....

Date: 2007-Mar-27, Tuesday 23:24 (UTC)There have been times when the entire Elf team has sat down, because then you can't hurt more than one per turn...
Besides, if I keep scoring, you don't get much chanc, and Elves don't drop balls.
