Had a good evening in the pub with nadriel chatting about random stuff. Have decided that The Cavern is a better pub than The Tavern, if only because the jukebox is better. Someone was paying to listen to lots of Meatloaf, but given I've lost my copy of Bat Out of Hell (I think my sister has it, no real matter), that's not actually as bad as it sounds...

Yes, except the ticketing agency is now in Glasgow. And apparently permanently stoned.

True. The ticket unit is, I think, a subcontractor, which given they're supposed to be pros, sucks. It's things like you click the link from the show page to the ticket page; it knows which show you want already,b utyou still need to tell it the date and time of the show, which is daft. I think even I could programme dynamic drop down choices and know tat all shows for programme X record at time Y.

Ah well, they're ordered, we'll see what we get out of it.
