I'm sat eating the pizza (standard on offer Sainsbury 4-cheeses plus some quorn slices I added myself), the phone beeps.

Megabus vouchers paid for by a certain someone. I'm off to Yorksher (again) for trhe bank holiday weekend. I go to post. I hit the WiFi. I log into deepestsender. I hit the WiFi (again). I type this. I hit the WiFi, pull the connector out and hope this'll help. I hit post, happy, despite the damn WiFi.

Pizza. Is that fattening enough for you m'dear?

Srsly, last time I saw you, you had DEFINITELY lost noticeable amounts of weight. And you know, it probably IS healthier. But I like you as you are. And you'd end up having to buy new clothes, and I know how skint you are.

I know; the landlady complimented me on how much healthier I looked this evening, and asked if you were pleased. She looked horrified when I said no.

But I need new trousers anyway, plus I'm actually growing back into existing clothers I can't currently fit into. SRSLY, I put on loads of weight last four years or so, not a good thing.

My mother will be very happy, and I am in many ways, fruit instead of chocolate, not many packs of crisps, lots more walking.

I promise not to waste away, and I probably won't lose much more, I'm stabilising I think.

It's not just you that I get like this with, if that's any comfort. I think it's because I have had two friends who turned out to be anorexics, and then that whole thing with me when I worked at Spoons (I sent you the picture, yes?)... So I worry when people lose weight anyway. A bit extra is better than not enough.

But yeah, getting the five a day is important. Vitamins and such.

I just like you snuggly. But if YOU'RE happy that's what matters.

For posting on LJ, there's a few editor tools out there you can use; type into it, and then just hit "send" when you're done. They're quite nice in that if the connection drops you don't have to worry about losing the text, obviously. I used Semagic, I don't know if that still exists.

Not that that solves your router problems obviously - I'm just a master of the workaround ;-)

I'd love to go to autumn conference in Brighton and am working on some free accommodation, but can't afford the ticket without working - are you able to put in a good word for me with someone so maybe I could tag along with you and do some shifts? I'm a very able administrator...

OK, spoke to Emma in Conferences; there are two main types of staff, Stewards, who do security and pointing people around the place, and Registration, who do what I did and do badges &c.

The latter requires more brain cells and is mostly desk based. Best thing is to email her (emma dot harris at lidbems dot org dot uk) and say you're interested and you know me, and take it from there.
