Darth and Droids—Phantasmal Malevolence
2007-Sep-14, Friday 20:34As
dm_of_the_rings is wrapping up, we have what could possibly be a worthy replacement—the guy who does Irregular Webcomic will spoof Star Wars: Darths & Droids.
First one is a good start, guess we'll have to see. No feed though:-(

Date: 2007-Sep-14, Friday 21:06 (UTC)Incidentally, I think most of my knowledge of table-top RPGs actually comes from webcomics, since I've never played one. A severe addiction to Neverwinter Nights helps with D&D specifics (and made me complain loudly through the cringe-worthy D&D film, which was rubbish enough anyway without considering how much it strayed from D&D rules. There's no way a Beholder would fail a spot check allowing a couple of rogues to sneak past, no matter how high their hide skill!).

Date: 2007-Sep-14, Friday 21:27 (UTC)I avoided the film because I knew it'd be crap, it was D&D and it was poorly done. Ah well.
(can you believe SB had never seen PB until I made her sit and watch it?)

Date: 2007-Sep-14, Friday 21:41 (UTC)I must admit that I watched PB for the first time in January. I responded in the way that best illustrates my enthusiasm for something: I stayed up till 3am making 158 PB icons... And then read the book. :)
