why is it better than texting lj directly when you're bored? It looks loads more like a direct text than it used to. What's the point of the twitter thing?

Amongst other things, this feeds to both LJ on a daily basis and Facebook for my status at the same time, plus people read my Twitter that don't read either (Twitter's new to me but lots of people I know use it).

Also, texting LJ directly is more hassle and requires codes and stuff taking up time in the text, this is quicker, and it only pipes, so when I'm in the mood to do several it doesn't clutter the place too much.

It's all about knowing which parts to put more / thicker layers on.

Feet and hands are important. Legs slightly less important. Chest most important. Ears / head on a par of importance with feet and hands.

Clearly, southern pansies don't learn this when they're growing up.
