This isn't replacing real updates though, this is stuff while I'm out and about or busy elsewhere, for the most part. I used to use sms_to_lj a lot, this is easier and more flexible.

I like a mix of both, but I've got a big 'meh' on real updates at the moment, partially because I finish work and I want to Do Stuff with Shrub and SB rather than stay online...

So real updates may happen at times, but this is a nice way of archiving my status updates and similar, which I like.
