David Boothroyd doesn't have them, nor does Peter Golds, and full results aren't available in my reference books. Why not ask Adrian? From what I know, Torbay (and Torquay before 1974) were solidly Tory until he beat Rupert Allason in 1997; and both Allason's predecessors, Sir Frederic Bennett and Charles Williams, were Tory MPs who served for over thirty years.

The important point wasn't who hold it, but where 2nd/3rd were, needed results that pre-dated the Alliance, and it did make my point, Alliance/Lib Dems made Torbay competetive, before then Libs and Lab were fighting for 2nd.

True, but our bath is, unfortunately, just a little bit too small for two people.

Especially with the size my belly has got to last 6 months or so.
