Ultimate Grammar fail

Gah! I finally wrote another post for Liberal Conspiracy, proof read it, spell checked it, added some paragraph breaks, then hit post. I just came back to it, and found the last paragraph read:

Or will the Republicans, like the post ‘97 Conservatives over here, fail to understand the depths of their own failure and be condemned to decades of opposition as they fail to understand the way modern America is truly rejecting their failed position?

Do you think I may've got a bit too attached to the word 'fail' there? FFS

"Fail". Got to remember that word for those end-of-2008 cuts. There's a "word of 2008" section in those, riight?

I guess the 10% accounts for "dodgy voting machines" and the other mentalness of the 2000 election. Although, the economic downturn could play into the GOP's hands as the real economy takes the blows while Obama is in office, and the democrats could get butchered in 2012 like Jimmy Carter after the stagflation days.

Heh, I read that post long before I read this one - totally missed that you wrote the one on LC...

What you failed (!) to realise was that you used four words with the same root, not the same word four times over. I actually thought it emphasised your point, rather than taking away from it.
