Calling Wikipedians (esp admins)

sammymorse has had his account suspended for no sane reason and could do with some help getting it back.

I've not even got a Wiki account, let alone admin priviledges, but I know a fair few reading this use the place a lot; I've met him a few times, and can definitely vouch that he is who he says. Suckpuppets are annoying, but this isn't the way to deal with it.

I've now found my editing privileges (on this computer anyway) blocked for a week after coming to sammymorse's defence. Everything behind this points towards a user called "Hayden5650", who is really a Nazi from New Zealand by the name of Hayden Armstrong, and who has a record as long as your arm for Wikipedia vandalism, notably on such subjects as the Holocaust and homosexuality.

Aye, I saw the links to the 'homosexual agenda' stuff, both pointless and nasty.

It's this sort of thing that puts me off the site, too many idiots with axes to grind, and far too many trolls prepared to abuse it, meaning the idiots get evidence too often :-(

Anyone know why Hayden5650's "User talk" page has been, er, decidedly bowdlerized since Google last crawled it? Have a look at the 15 July cached version and the current version, both available from the top link at http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=%22hayden+armstrong%22+%22deletion+policies%22 at the time of publishing. The current version includes little outside his contretemps with sammymorse.

I don't know how Wikipedia works, or if this is right, but I've mentioned it to the news address @ El Reg.

Replying to my own comment again (sorry to both burkesworks and to you, matgb, but it looks like Hayden5650 got rid of all the bad stuff about him on 21 July (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Hayden5650&oldid=146211096). At least Wikipedia's history still works, even if there are people out there trying to revise actual history....
