I can't find a press release on the Beeb site, and of course this may be general knowledge I've missed, but all I can really say is about bloody time.

In other news, I did a minor edit to my CSS for my LJ earlier, removing some code from it. It's now refusing to display it, the rendering engine says: /* Cleaned CSS: *//* suspect CSS: high bytes */. Which, y'know, is weird, given that it was working fine earlier and I took code out. Tried self hosting the style sheet, same error, different way of telling me, neither good or user friendly (because normal people wouldn't know to view source LJ, get a clue!). Support request to open after work methinks :-(

Hmmm. I'm a bit worried that it's so long since Buffy was on telly that audience apathy will be high and Ripper will meet the same grisly fate as Firefly.

It's only going to be a mini-series effectively (unless that's changed), so that shouldn't be an issue.

And DVD sales will be good regardless, tehre're still a lot of fans out there.

Ah, that should be OK then. A mini-series seems like a better idea than an ongoing one.

I'm a big fan myself (round our house, Thursday night is Buffy night!:D)but I can just imagine all the teens out there saying "Buffy who?"

I heard something about this a few weeks ago - apparently Weedon's said at ComicCon that he's talking to the BBC about it again, but there's nothing definite. I don't know if PB are reporting that, or if they've got some new news...

Aye, I'd heard something, but nothing specific, this has a 'will start' rather than a 'I'm in talks', hence I thought I'd look see.

Given it's PB, it could be anything at all, but, well, no harm in spreading the word a little.

I heard this too. I'm not convinced that Tony Head was the best thing about Buffy so I think it might be a little bit shit but if Joss writes and directs it it will be excellent and amusing so there will just be a tiny little bit of poo in the corner.

I like Head overall, and he can carry a part in other things, so it really depends on Joss, who is great when he's not paying attention to his own publicity.

We'll see, I guess.
