Via the ever amusing Register odds feed, James Blunt is definitely a wanker, try it for yourself on the Amazon.co.uk search page and look at 'related searches' (ETA: The search for James Blunt appears to have been fixed, I now link to the search for wanker—if they've fixed that, try tedious). No, I don't know how their algorithm works, but I might look into it at some point—I think it's something to do with what people search for while buying things.

In other news, via Gareth, how about a Scotsman with a 4-week hangover? Gareth thinks he's a lightweight, Jennie knows people that drink more than that regularly. I'm scared.

Amazon agrees with Mitch Benn... who'd have thunk it?

He's the only man alive who is his

My friend just got dumped by her bf in a really nasty way. I went to university with both of them, and I am considering removing the bloke from my f list and msn messenger, because I have the final proof he's a tool:

It's so beautiful. It had to be screencapped. It's like a car crash in slow motion.

Sadly, the search page doesn't have the wanker anymore. :o(

"James blunt" and "tedious" don't work now either. But if you search for "tedious" on its own, he is the first result.

I looked at the numbers and I thought, at first, 'No way! That'd kill you!' Then I dug out the calculator; assuming he slept as normal, during that time, on average, it was slightly less then one beer an hour. Thinking about it, I've worked with people who drank at a higher rate (although admittedly not for as long). So presumably it is within anatomical tolerances!

That said, I don't think a four-day bender is a good idea! I imagine his liver no longer wants to be his friend...

60 pints over four days, and he has a hang-over for four weeks? What a whoopsie!

My friends and I calculated that we drank solidly for 18 hours on our last trip to Prague, and we also calculated that I drink, on average, a pint every fifteen minutes. So that works out at 72 pints. And I was only hung-over for two days!

I think we should banish this guy from Scotland, he's giving us a bad name!
