[1] Technically he's no longer my MP, but as I'm not settled in Wimbledon really and am moving on, plus I've been campaigning and supporting him since I was a kid, he's the one I consider my MP until such time as I'm settled somewhere formally.

If it's any consolation, we're still a whole lot better than the States. I have an American friend who reported Christmas carols playing at the cinema on August 16.

My local garden centre has had it's Christmas stock in since the middle of August.
